More Salem High School Students Eligible for Acorn Fund Accounts
Parents of 9th graders attending Salem High School who don’t live in Salem City -- you are now eligible to sign your child up for an Acorn Fund account!
Funded by the Forman S. Acton Educational Foundation, the Acorn Fund is used to create and fund college savings accounts for every child living or attending public school in Salem City. Since it was created, more than 900 children have signed up for Acorn Fund accounts.
All children from birth through 12th grade who live in Salem City, NJ, are eligible. Additionally, all children from birth through 12th grade who attend public school in Salem City, NJ, are eligible.
Children living outside of Salem City are eligible if they are CURRENTLY attending public school in Salem City. Parents may apply after your child begins attending school in Salem City.
Eligible high school graduates have until June 30 of the year they graduate to apply for an Acorn Fund College Savings Account, after which they are no longer eligible. Click here to get your application started!
