Our Graduates
Our Forman Scholar graduates have successfully completed their undergraduate years and are taking their skills and knowledge to the real world. Learn about where our Forman Scholar graduates are today.

Brittany graduated in May of 2019 from Rutgers University (Camden) with a degree in painting. She is giving some thought to entering graduate school in the next couple of years but in the interim, will be entering the workforce using her excellent graphic and artistic skills. Congratulations Brittany!

Mariah graduated in May 2018 from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health. She remained at Rutgers and received a Master's degree in Public Health in May 2020. As one of our veteran scholars, Mariah has been incredibly helpful to many of our younger Scholars by providing them with her insight and experience with college life.

Dominique graduated in May 2019 from Salisbury University with a degree in English, with a focus on creative writing. She will begin a master's program at Salisbury University in the fall of 2019 in history. Good luck, Dominique!

Mya graduated from Penn State University August of 2019, having completed her course of study in just three years! She received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminology, Sociology, and African American studies. Mya is currently working as a middle school teacher in Delaware. As this was not her major, she is currently taking courses to become fully certified while she holds down this full time position. She has assignments in both regular and special education. She also has her sights on further study in school psychology. Mya has a great temperament to be a middle school teacher and we bet the students just love her!!

Megan graduated in May of 2019 from Thomas Jefferson University with both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in occupational therapy. The employment possibilities are endless for Megan, and we know she'll succeed wherever she goes!

Madinah graduated from Rowan University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance. She will begin working this fall for the PricewaterhouseCoopers accounting firm in Philadelphia. We wish you all the best, Madinah, and know you're on your way to being an accounting star!

Meet Forman Scholar Evelyn Campbell, who graduated from Rider University in May 2016. Evelyn was very involved on campus, serving as president of the Black Student Union, as secretary of the biological honor society, and as a residence advisor. A biology major, she is now in a PhD program in microbiology at the University of Chicago. Good luck Evelyn! We're so proud of you!

Meet Forman Scholar Najwa Tatum, who graduated from Stockton University in December 2016, and is now a member of our Board of Trustees! Najwa has always loved sports, and is considering a career in physical therapy, with the possibility of opening her own practice in the future.

Tiasia graduated in May of 2019 from Rutgers University (Camden) with a degree in criminal justice. She will be entering the workforce in the fall with the hopes of entering law school within the next couple of years. Congratulations, Tiasia!

Meet Forman Scholar Michael Warner, who graduated from Rowan University in January of 2015 - our first Forman Scholar to graduate from college! Following graduation, Michael worked as a lab technician at Drexel University's Department of Pharmacology and Physiology. His current job is working as a software developer for Holman Automotive (AKA Holman Enterprises) in South Jersey. Michael also hopes to be an author some day so is also working to fine tune his writing skills. We are all very proud of you Michael!

Meet Forman Scholar Elizabeth Hogate. "Lissie," as she is better known, is a May 2020 graduate of East Stroudsburg University earning a degree in Business Management and Hospitality. Her goal is to become an event planner, and she got a jump start in that career by being involved in several jobs and internships while a student at ESU. For instance, she assisted with event planning at the Salem Country Club and completed an internship with Vagabond Cruises at Hilton Head, SC. With her drive and enthusiasm, she is sure to be very successful!

Ayanna Chapman graduated from Rowan University in 2020 with a degree in political science. A highlight for Ayanna was when she spent an impactful semester abroad studying in the Dominican Republic. Now she is exploring options for her next adventure, whether that be law school or a career in international relations. Whatever path she takes, we know she’ll do great things. Congratulations, Ayanna!

Meet Forman Scholar Thomas Poliski. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree. He always dreamed of working at a start-up, and now he’s living his dream as a junior robotics engineer at Uchimura Robotics, a robotics start-up in Atlanta, Georgia. Congratulations, Thomas!

Meet Forman Scholar Samantha Miller. Samantha is a 2020 graduate of Kutztown University with a degree in Commercial Music. Samantha is putting this degree to great use as a member of South Jersey's leading arts education organization, Apple Farm Arts and Music Center! Her beautiful voice and skilled clarinet playing will obviously have a tremendous impact on her upcoming career. Congratulations, Samantha!

Tanner graduated in May of 2019 from St. Joseph's University with a degree in Finance. When he graduated, he was hoping to make his mark in the banking and/or investment field as he entered the workforce. He is well on his way to do that and is currently working at Freedom Mortgage training to be an underwriter. Good luck, Tanner, and thank you for being a wonderful Forman Scholar!

Abigail graduated in December 2020 from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. Prior to graduation, she worked part-time with M.C. Dean, an engineering firm in the Washington, D.C. area. Upon graduation, she was offered a full-time position with the firm. Congratulations, Abigail!

Arianna graduated in May 2021 from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She will be preparing for her CPA exam over the next several months. In the interim, she has been hired by Gunnip & Company LLP as a Staff Accountant. Congratulations, Arianna!

Emily graduated in May 2021 from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy Services. She will head back to school within a couple of years to pursue graduate work in this field. In the meantime, she plans to put her skills to the test working in a special needs group home providing OT services. Congratulations, Emily!

After completing a five-year program at Rowan University, Noah earned a Master of Athletic Training in May 2021. Although Noah's job search is not yet complete, we are confident he will be much sought after by schools or organizations in need of an athletic trainer. Congratulations, Noah, and best of luck!

S'Deionna graduated in May 2021 from Delaware State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has recently been hired by Christiana Hospital, where she will take part in an internship program offering a variety of clinical rotation experiences. Congratulations, S'Deionna!

Starrchild (Starr) Jackson graduated from Boston University in the summer of 2021, where he majored in American Studies and minored in Finance. Growing up in Salem, Starr learned the power of community. His love for his Salem "family" drove him to found Our Rising Starrs, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping underprivileged youth discover their hidden potential. Starr is also an incoming Gradate Admissions Advisor at Boston University's Metropolitan College, where he will have the opportunity to work with individuals looking to further their education. He is also beginning a graduate urban planning program at BU this fall. Congratulations, Starr! We know you're destined for greatness!

Destiny Green graduated from Rowan University in August 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and a minor in Chemistry. Following graduation, she was hired as a QC Lab Tech by Astral Diagnostics Inc. in Logan Township, NJ. While her responsibilities are varied, most of her work presently involves testing different stains, buffers and other materials that are used for other lab facilities. Those facilities can vary between hospitals, private practices and veterinary hospitals throughout the country. We're beyond excited that Destiny was offered and accepted a job in her field so quickly!

Sierra Brown graduated from Stockton University in December 2021 with a degree in Psychology. She is currently contemplating a variety of career paths with an eye toward making a meaningful impact in her community. Congratulations, Sierra!

Elise Davenport graduated from Messiah College in May 2022 with a degree in Nursing. Following graduation, Elise successfully passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) and became licensed as a Registered Nurse. Today, she works on the Hershey Medical Center’s adult acute care unit caring for post-operative trauma patients. She’s also currently studying for a specialized trauma certification. Congratulations, Elise!

Katie Ridgway graduated from Rowan University in May 2022 with a degree in Education. Following graduation, Katie returned to her alma mater, John Fenwick Academy, to teach in the Salem City School District and give back to her community. Congratulations, Katie!

Kyla graduated from the University of Scranton in May 2022 and has now returned to her alma mater to study for a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She is currently engaging in multiple fieldwork placements providing her the opportunity to work with her own supervised caseload. Upon the completion of her current program, she intends to take National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification exam in the hopes of becoming a certified occupational therapist. Congratulations, Kyla!

Sarah graduated from Stockton University in May 2022 with a degree in Psychology. She is now studying for a Master of Social Work at the University of Chicago. Congratulations, Sarah!

Michaela graduated from Bucknell University in May 2022 with a degree in International Relations. Following graduation, she joined Philly First as an organization working on voter registration efforts throughout Philadelphia. Congratulations, Michaela!

Tariq graduated from Rutgers University – New Brunswick in May 2022 with a degree in Sports Management. Following graduation, he returned to Rutgers to work for his alma mater’s athletics program. Congratulations, Tariq!

Akina graduated from Swarthmore College in May 2023 with a degree in Educational Studies and Psychology. She currently works as a Life Skills Counselor for Pressley Ridge in Chester, Pa.

D’Angelo graduated from Drew University in May 2023 with a degree in Media & Communications. Following graduation, he intends to launch his career at a radio or TV station, ultimately becoming a radio personality or television anchor.

Megan graduated from Drew University in May 2023 with a degree in Education. She has remained at Drew and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Education.

William graduated from Lafayette College in May 2023 with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is currently employed by the United States Navy.

Aaliyah graduated from the University of Tampa in May 2024 with a degree in criminology and criminal justice. She's launched her career with the Juvenile Assessment Center in Tampa, an organization she was introduced to through an internship with Tampa's Adult Addiction Receiving Facility.

Aliyah graduated from Rowan University in May 2024 with a degree in nursing.

Darius graduated from Drew University in May 2024 with a degree in psychology and sociology. With a deep passion for helping others, Darius is remaining on campus to pursue a Master of Education degree in equity and culture.

Destiny graduated from St. Joseph's University in May 2024 with a degree in sports management. As for what's next, she's keeping her options open and applying to some graduate programs as a way of furthering her education.

Diamani graduated from Drew University in May 2024 with a degree in theatre. After studying dramaturgy, screenwriting and acting as an undergraduate student, she's decided to enter a graduate program at Arcadia University, where she is studying creative writing while producing short films.

Emma graduated from Drew University in May 2024 with a degree in economics. While she has already entered the workforce, supporting PSE&G's business customer solutions division, she's also pursuing a master's degree in finance, which she intends to complete later this year.

Jeremy graduated from Rowan University in May 2024 with a degree in electrical and computer engineering. After previously completing a software engineering internship on Walt Disney World's global engineering and technology attractions systems team, he is back at the "Happiest Place on Earth," completing an additional internship on the ride control team.

Ka'Nijha graduated from Stockton University in May 2024 with a degree in health science and disability studies. Now that she's spent some time shadowing a general dentist and dental hygienist, she plans to enter a dental program and become even more immersed in the field.

Quadier graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in May 2024 with a degree in criminology. He's continuing his education at FDU's Metro campus, where he is studying for a master's degree in cyber and homeland security administration and serving as director of residence life.

Thomas graduated from Towson University in May 2024 with a degree in music education. After launching his career as a music eductor, he plans to study for a master's degree or potentially become board certified at the national level.

Gage graduated from Salem Community College with an associate degree in criminal justice. He now serves as a police officer in Pennsville Township, New Jersey.

Elinor graduated from Bloomsburg University in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Middle-Level Math Education. Following graduation, she launched her career as a math teacher at Liberty Elementary School in Liberty, Pennsylvania.

Kaiana graduated from Tuskegee University in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Kaiana plans to attend graduate school at UTHealth, where she will continue her studies while preparing for the MCAT. Her goal is to earn a competitive score and apply to medical school to pursue her dream of becoming an OB-GYN.

Akeyia graduated from Swarthmore College in May 2025 with degrees in Black Studies and Educational Studies. Following graduation, she plans to prepare for her teacher certification program and begin her career in education shortly after, while pursuing her master’s degree in education.

John graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in May 2025 with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. Following graduation, he plans to complete an accelerated bachelor’s degree in nursing, gain experience working in an intensive care unit, and then pursue a doctorate in nursing to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Myles graduated from Rowan College of South Jersey in May 2025 with an associate degree in exercise science. Following graduation, he plans to attend Rowan University to obtain his Bachelor of Science in exercise science.

Patrick graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security and Intelligence with a minor in military science. Following graduation, Patrick plans to head to Fort Novosel in Alabama to begin his helicopter training.

Renee graduated from Vassar College in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a pathway in Race, Ethnicity and Indigeneity. Following graduation, she plans to head to Barcelona, Spain, for a four-week program to obtain her TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification.
